AC Issues

Hey guys, I did search, but didn't find anything that I thought related to my issue.

since last October anytime I use my AC the compressor will damn near kill my truck when it kicks on, then when it kicks off my truck will lurch forward from the jump in the rpms if I'm not standing on the brake.

I hear no weird noises under the hood while this is going on, and the ac cools fine, the only thing that does happen is I get an IAC code if I leave the ac on while at a red light.

finally since about April my ac has decided to start coming on when the switch is in the off position every now & then.

I originally thought screw it, I'll just run without AC, but August temps as of late have me changing my mind, and I'd like to have an ac that I can actually use again.

Any ideas as to what could be the problem?

I'd have an A/C shop check the compressor pressures to make sure they're right. Then I'd clean the throttle body and you don't have an IAC. Yers is drive by wire- no IAC, so unless you know the exact code, something else is up.
