Hey yall, I think I'm about to order some 09 badges to replace my black badges I have now, The bad paint job my friend did really started getting to me. I really like the look of the tailgate badge and would rather have that on the fenders as well instead of having Lariat sticking off to the side of it. So my question is, do the holes line up to use the one for the tailgate on the fenders?

You have to buy a flareside tailgate badge for it to line up properly, and I think there is a hole behind the Lariat part.

 

Ok, doesn't sound like it would look to great with a whole next to the badge. Guess I'll go with the lariat badge. Thanks alot man.

 

The 09 fender badges are larger than the 09 tailgate badge and the pins do not line up. You can put the tailgate badge on the fenders, you have to cut off the pins and it just barely covers the holes in the fender. You will have to place them freehand cause you no longer have the pins to guide you.

 

cut the trim tab off of the fender emblems with a dremel ( pics in my album)

the tail gate emblems dont cover the alignment holes on the fenders from my understanding. the tail gate emblem is smaller than the fender emblem.

and get a flareside tailgate emblem for your style side tailgate.
