how do you find leaks?

ok, so my truck recently started making a rattling sound while under acceleration. If I put it in 4WD the noise goes away, so after some researching I think I have a leak in my vacuum lines to the IWE's.

My question is how do you guys find the leaks or holes in those lines???

Thanks!!

I think you just change out the whole line

I think you just change out the whole line. I think it suppose to get a air pump and hook it up to the bottom of the tube up under the hood behind the battery. If its looses air, you found your leak

Not easy because I have an extension since I have a 10 inch lift on my truck

just look for the spot where the vacuum is dripping on the floor

you could try pulling one end of the line and putting in some low air pressure (I'd limit it to about 5 PSI) and then coating the tube with soap solution (dish soap and water)

This way it will bubble at the leak.

One method I've used is a propane torch. Start the engine, open the valve on the bottle (don't light it!), then run it along the line. When you find the leak the propane will be sucked in causing the engine idle to change.
