i swapped my stock 3rd brake light years ago for an LED one, i have since had to replace that one as well. i want to go back to a stock light if i can find one but i can not remember how it was wired. the leds have been a direct plug and play install.

if you have pics of a 3rd brake light from the back please post them so i can see. i think it was one cord with 3 bulbs it in and it plugged in just like these aftermarket ones have. by the way i am looking to buy one if the price is right and its not all beat up.
