Help with CV Axle Install!

Ok my 05 has a clicking CV axle. So I have the axle unbolted ready to remove but I can't! No room. Would disconnecting the upper a-arm give me the room? I found a DIY for a 03 I believe but I don't think removing the sway will make a difference. Any tips or tricks please!

Thanks
Ralph

Had mine out on my '04. Yes disconnecting the upper control arm will give you the clearance to get the axle out. Be careful putting the new one in. The spindle has a seal for the hub. I disconnected my tie rod end and sway bar link to make it easier.
