I am totally confused about the differences of the grilles between 2004 and 2007. If you look on the following website, it says it fits 2004-2006 (second grille down), then down further another style says it fits 2005-2008 (fourth one down). I have a 2007 and want the chrome/black grille. Will that one fit my truck??? Thanks guys and girls.

Can guarantee what I'm about to say, but most parts interchange between the 2004 to 2008 model year. I think at the time a part is produced it says what years are covered and no one updates the information. There were a lot of parts listed as 2004-2006 or 2004 to 2007 that bolted right on my 2008. However, some electronics are the exception. Someone may have specific information on grilles, but I doubt there is a difference.

 

any grille will fit your truck, grilles vary from trim to trim, for example most (if not all) xlt's come with honeycomb grilles, and fx4's come with the grille that has the black plastic seperators in it. any grille will fit your truck, you just have to decide which one you want

 

The grill will be fine.

However, bumpers (for example), thats a whole other beast... The 04- pre Aug. 2005 trucks have one style, while the Aug 2005 - 2008 trucks have a different style (front and back).
