Time to replace Cv Axles and remove lift?

Hello all it's been a while since I have been on here. My trucks started clicking on the drivers side. I new the spacers may cause this eventually. I have over 40k miles and almost 5yrs on them. I also need new tires. I am getting ready for our yearly family vacation and want to get the truck all ready.

CV Axels-
1. Should I replace passenger side now as well. Is it case where if one starts going bad the other will follow shortly?
2. Should I just buy the replacement axels at Advanced or Autozone? Any brand preferred?

Lift-
I am considering removing it but really like the look. I thought I had read that 2" spacers were not as harsh a angle on the cv joints?

Tires-
I have BFG A/T's they have been a good tire for over 40k miles. They are getting bald though. The 305/65/18 rub on very hard turns with factory FX4 rims. I am thinking of either dropping down to a 275/70/18 BFG A/T. It would save $100 a tire and only cost me a .5 inches of total tire height. The other option is try some Goodyear Kevlar MTS in a 33". They are the same cost as the BFG 305 and I am asuming may wear much faster?

I really love my truck I need to make my mind up soon. Anyhow thanks in advance for the comments.

Ralph

I have 2'' as level and ripped both cv boots. Luckily ford replacing under warranty but I'm removing mine too. I did alot of searching and this seems to be a common issue even with 2''. I didn't even make it 2000 miles with them.

I got 15 thousand miles on my 2 inch Rough country level and no problems at all. It barley changes the CV angle at all.
