Big problems

My front end is grinding coming from the passenger side front wheel.I think that my truck is stuck in 4x4 but not 100%.after all i have read i think it is my IWE but Im scared it could be worse then that, it started after making a dumb mistake.I was sliding off a muddy road and i put it in 4hi and gassed on it to keep from sliding into a 10' ditch. The front end popped for a second then locked in.But ever since then it has been grinding and pulling to the right.

First off does not sound that dumb of a decision considering the circumstances, did what you had to..

As for the problem, very well could be the IWE. If thats not it could also be the bearing assembly is gone, that would make noise and could cause the truck to pull.

if it is my iwe does anyone know how much it will cost to fix,and would it just be the solenoid on the firewall from the shift to 4hi while on the gas.Or do yall think it will be more then that.
