My 06 F-150 FX4

I just traded this 05 Ford F-250

for this 06 Ford F-150 FX4. I wanted something that was automatic and rode a little better.

I really like the interior in this truck. It already has a K&N FIPK installed on it. The first thing I had to do was repaint the faded fender flares

I also installed pioneer speakers all around and LED interior light bulbs. I justgot finished installing Skyjacker leveling spacers to help the looks of it. I will try to get pics of that tomorrow. I'm planning on putting black "Harley Davidson style" headlights in it and a smoked or black LED 3rd brake light. I have a SCT X-cal left over from my Mustang days I'm gonna try to get reflashed for this truck. I wanna find some HID headlights and matching foglight bulbs for this truck very soon.

I like the factory wheels that are already on this truck but it needs a set of tires. I know I'm gonna run a few sizes bigger tires when I get them but I'm thinking about getting new wheels too. I thought about the Raptor wheels or a nice looking black aftermarket wheel. Not sure what I'm gonna do yet.

Also I'm liking the stock quiet exhaust too but I think black exhaust tip or tips would look great on it. Is anybody on here running dual exhaust with stock muffler? If I run duals, I think having them at 45 degree angle looks better then just straight out the back.

Yea I do need tires. I'm trying to wait and see what I decide to do with wheels before I buy tires. Know what I mean?

that was I pic of it after installing the 2.5in. Skyjacker leveling spacers. Before I did this, the truck measured right at 2.5in. low in the front. Now it still measures 3/4in. low in the front. I shoulda got 3in. spacers but it looks alot better how it sets now and I'm happy so far. I might change them out in the future though.

Arrow

I measured the truck again today and it was only 1/4in. higher in rear today so I'm happy with that. It must have been how it was setting when I measured it the first time or something. I'm really liking this truck so far. It's quieter and rides so much better then my old superduty did. The K&N intake is kinda loud when you get on it but that's ok cause it sounds good like that.

I washed the truck, cleaned the wheels, Armoraled the interior and put leather conditioner on the seats for the first time yesterday. Now I wanna change all fluids just so I know everything is fresh. I'll eventually get it how I want it.

You can save yourself a couple hundred bucks if you buy a set of Hella black headlights, or paint your stock ones. I'm surprised no one commented on the pin-stripe.

No I don't know them but I do watch their show all the time and try tone at any events they have near me. I run their decals on all my atv's too.

Thanks for the advice on the Hella's. I haven't made up my mind on the pin stripe yet either. I guess it just depends on what wheels I decide to run. Thanks for all the comments

Here is a pic I took of the truck today while grilling out ar Horse Creek Park here in TN.

And since I was talking about them, here is a pic of my ATV collection ( '03 z400, '87 Lt250r quadracer, '01 Lt80)
