Hi all
Am new here,

This is the first time I write something in a forum ever,
I have a F-150 lurit 2006, am hearing a abnormal sound coming from the bottom of my truck exactly under me, I mean under the driver side the sound starts only when i step on the accelerator, the sound stops only if i start the 4H or 4L, i have spent most of my time the last 4 months under the truck trying to find this sound sours, the sound is like loss chin, and there is something string when I accelerate suddenly, the truck don’t lunch as it use to be.

Pleas someone till me what should i do

alright alright...had to

not sure about the noise, id start with transfer case, maybe front driveshaft

i'd check the hoses behind the spindle to make sure they are on the barbs i found one of mine had fall off and the 4wd hubs were locking in and out with the hoses off. you really have to lay down behind the wheel to see them. thats my 2 cents

iwe - independent wheel end
this is the method used to engage/disengage 4x4 on these f150's w the use of vacuum.

Actually to engage/disengage the front wheels. Engagement of the front driveshaft is done by the transfer case. Either a bad IWE solenoid or IWE(s).

If the sound is sort of like ice in a blender or sheet metal being dragged, It is very likely to be an IWE issue. They are pretty easy to repair once you identify the problem...

hi all am back after reading all about IWE, and i change it, but the sound still there, it's driving me crazy, any other suggestions...?

One more question: is it possible to install rear differential look
