washers

hey

this is probably a stupid question, but I just recently put a 1.5AS on my truck. wish I would have gotten the 2. instead of buying a 2, could I just put 1/2 washers between the coil and the spacer? seems theres enough nut to still tighten it down, and i could get my uncle to even weld them to the spacers or something. anyone ever tried this?

if I cant I'm just going to deal with it. its to big of a deal and being annoyed over half an inch is just irrational. but if it could be a matter of just going to home depot and for less than 5 bucks getting my half in, then I'd do it.

I actually did this with my 2" spacer to acquire the lift a 2.5" spacer would offer. I got the widest washers I could find to fit and installed them on top of the spacer. I only added two washers and it gave me roughly 1/2" of lift. I removed it after 6 weeks because my rear sat lower. It should work, being you leave plenty of thread in the nuts.
