Squeak squeak squeak down the road..

I dont know how long its been doing it for but I had the passenger window down this weekend on my truck and with traffic beside me I could hear one of my wheels making a squeak every time it made a revolution, it only does it speeds less than 25mph and when my foot is OFF the brake, if I ride the brake it does go away for the most part, any ideas?

Brakes are relatively new, tailgate did, and shut it up with a shot of wd40, maybe ujoints never thought of that,

I've had issues with my rear passenger brake caliper dragging, I found it the same way you did (accidently)... I was able to get it working with some lubrication, but lots of folks have had to replace... If I hear another peep out of it, I will replace mine...

Jack the rear end up and spin the wheels... you'll hear it if it happens, also a good way to check driveshaft U-Joints...

Jack the front up too... wheel bearing?, or caliper dragging? or CV Joints? any of the above.. Occasionally hear of rear shocks, or front struts squeaking if the bushings are worn... just thoughts...

Good Luck,

Let us know what you find
