Why do you feel the need to have one?

I've had one on mine for almost a year now...love it! 4R75E Trans. Holds about 5 extra quarts of fluid though, but the magnetic drain plug is the best part. The best thing to do is to call the company, ph # is on the website and tell them what year, motor size, and trans code, I'm 100% sure they can take care of you. They are a great pan even though they are not cheap !

What is it that you "love" about it? Have you noted a significant decrease in tranny temps, or are you just referring to the ability to drain it and hold more fluid?

Were you able to run the stock tranny filter with it or did you have to get an aftermarket filter with a longer intake port to accomadate for the deeper pan?

X2 I noticed decreased temperatures (via programmer) and the fact It has a drain plug is tops! I suppose if I towed (alot) it would be even more important.

The pan comes with a new filter in the kit, but it is the same as the oem filter. There are standoffs on the bottom of the pan to compensate for the increased depth

I'm about 15-20*C cooler as shown on my Edge. Fluid changes are a breeze, magnetic plug is great. I bought it was because I tow frequently at the GCVW maximum. I use their diff cover for the same reasons. Quality product.

BTW just call MagHytec and tell 'em what you have, they'll make sure you get the correct part number.

I have the deep dish pan from them, the truck holds tons of tranny fluid. My temps significantly decreased during our summer temps of 100 or so.. If you have the cash this is one great mod for the tranny.

I have this pan also. Great fit and finish. Make sure you pair it with some good fluid for the best results.
