vents behind backseat

vents behind backseat

i have a 2006 fx4 super cab and is has vents behind the backseat one on each side that open up to the outside between the cab and the bed what r these for?

Imagine what your ears might feel like after opening and shutting the doors with the windows rolled up if those vents weren't there

They would feel like mine did when we shut the doors on my Daddy's '66 F100. He always left the driver's window cracked open a hair for that reason.

Pressure relief.... they allow the pressure to escape when closing doors for running the HVAC blower.....
