I put on the AS 1.5 kit about 2 years ago along with a set of BFG in 285/65/18 (i think that was the size) and don't regret it at all.

The install is easy, just don't forget to align it.

You'll like it.

thanks dave. I do plan on going bigger than my current tires (275/65/18) eventually, but not yet since theyre still brand new.

I just got one side on. took me about an hour. keep in mind all im using is hand tools and a floor jack, and im alone. just looking at it in the garage im kind of wishing i would have done a 2" instead, but whatever its already on there haha... I'll probably end up going to a 2.5" when I get new tires (when my current wear out) and I decide to get a 3" bl.

overall though it hasn't been too hard. just follow the instructions and take your time, and rock out to some garth brooks and tim mccgraw in the process.

Also note that i took off my 2" drop shackles that are on in all the before pictures, and put my stock ones back on. looks pretty level to the naked eye. If I could go back I'd go with a 2" lift. but its said and done so no need to worry about it ha. Once I get her cleaned up I'm going to start tinting the tailights, painting the headlights, and getting some kind of pinstripe or my rocker panels done maybe.
