Step Tailgate on 2006

Sure wish the 2004-2008's had this option, I can hardly get my old fat butt in the bed LOL. Sure are a lot higher than the "old days" pickups.

Ever think about dropping the back some? or dropping the whole truck? might be something looking into. Plus they have a sidestep thing now that can help you out if your interested.

Hope that helps you out.

Wow, hadn't gone searching yet, was just thinking about what a nice design the new tailgate is and making conversation. Definitely some options out there, I like the most unnoticeable which seems like that side step is.

No lowering, just leveled the front and put 35's on yesterday! Yea, I know, quit raising it if you can't get in LOL. This is actually first truck I have owned that actually use the running boards to get in.

Edit: Hmm, but like the price of the hitchmate a lot better than the step!

No, he's showing the maximum weight limit of a Toyota tailgate.
