Bed Extender Quick Question
Bed Extender Quick Question
Hey guys...
I have a bed extender that I am selling to another F-150 owner. Problem is, he doesn't have the threaded collars in his box, so the 'pivot pins' have nothing to screw into.
Here's my question: If he takes out his tail lights, can he get access to the back of the holes in the bed near the tail gate and put washers and nuts on the pivot pins from the inside??
He can't use it otherwise...
Any help is appreciated!

I think ford sells a bigger bolt that cuts it's own threads in the holes. Some trucks have the threaded inserts and some don't. If anything you could try to get to the back of the hole by removing the tail light. (maybe)
...Not if there aren't collars in the holes. The holes without collars are too big. You've gotta be able to get at the back of the holes by taking out the tail lights...anyone know???
