my truck was stolen

my truck was stolen but was found 3 days later, with the wheels off of it, stereo out of it, and alot of stuff missing, but anyways the shop is almost done with it and i was wondering what all should i look for? i kno they checked the trans, and replaced the rotors and brakes and lower control arms, what else should i make sure they do?

give u a new truck, because it would never in a 100 years sit tight we me if I knew some other D-bag was in my truck running the **** out of doing god knows what.

Sorry about your loss. If you had to have that many parts that weren't stripped replaced, whoever the lowlife (I have better words but Mother told me not to use them) was that stole it must have beat the snot out of it. Not only are you unlikely to find everything that could be damaged and just waiting to fail, as Blackjack pointed out, you'll be always worried about what was going to break next. Once you get it back, it will be time to trade it in. Doing so will probably be less costly in the long run and you'll sleep better.

geeze, if you had to replace the lower control arms, then i would have the frame checked to make sure that wasnt tweaked either. to damage these control arms, takes a lot of abuse...so yeah get those front frame rails checked.

also id go over that motor with a fine toothed comb. nothing worse than driving it a few months later and having the engine fail on you

lower control arms had to be replaced? how bad were they?
id have everything checked over twice
my buddy has his truck stolen and however beat on it. The gears in the rear went, i know he had the insurance company get them redone. His truck also had about 100k on it

Man, I'm sorry to hear this...my mom got a car stolen probably 16 years ago or so now, and when we got it back it never ran the same. I'd try to get all the insurance money I could, then sell the truck and buy another one.
