I'm in the process of revamping my truck for the next big show in august. I need some help guys.

I have an stx and i'm planning to basically swap an fx2/4 interior into it. I know what i need and everything, but where are you guys finding the consoles/dashes beside ebay? I've been looking for a while and i'm not having much luck on ebay for anything!

Also, Any idea where i can find black leather seat covers/ carpet, besides ebay?

Some of you guys might remember my truck, but i'll be posting it again once i get everything done.

One more thing.. 09 emblems interswap with ours right? You guys know any part numbers?

Never bought them, but Katzkin make leather covers. Your going to spend some $$$

I believe the emblems are inter change able. BUt the tail gate emblem is specific because of the mounting holes. I know I have read about emblem swaps on here. Try a search, you should find it.

 

check salvage yard?

 

We've been calling salvage yards for the last 6 months that are local. Katzkin can be had for $600 on ebay.. I'm trying to be cheap about this lol

 

For doing what you want to do with your truck besides going to salvage yards it's not going to be cheap. I'm not even 1/4 of a way done with my truck and I've spent over $6,000 in parts. And Now I can't spend anymore because I'm starting school maybe on june 7th. =-( But good luck with your finds.

You talking about making a show truck correct? I've been doing bits by bits with my truck and probably spent around 6k on it so far with a lot more to do. haven't done my interior, lightings, system, more body work, engine. Rims and tires were most expensive. People say it looks ready for shows but I know for it to be a top finisher in a car show I need a lot more work.

 

No I've got over $12k last time i added reciepts up into it already lol. I want to swap an fx2 interior into my stx.. with black leather take offs and black carpet. I thought you meant you were paying that much for an interior swap..

Ah no, not for interior. I haven't even started with my interior yet. But the Fx2 interior is great. haha. But you should invest in some smoked out tails as well as a Fiberglass tonneau cover.

 

they're smoked out. I have a tiltbak cover... I'll be getting a roll pan, 09 emblems and a mark lt handles probably, soon
