Hub bearing?

Hey guys need some help again. Ok so I have a '05 FX4 with 69k miles, a 2.5 AS leveling kit, and some 295/70/18 tires. So last weekend it started to make a metal on metal noise coming from the passenger side front tire and I felt a vibation. We put it up on the left and put it on 4low and sure enough the front passenger tire wasn't spinning. Told my cousin from north Texas what is happening he said it's prob the hub bearing. Can anybody confirm this? We don't think it's the cv joint cause when I turn the wheel to the left or right there isn't any noise and cause it spins when we spun the tire. Could it be anything else? How hard s it to change out the hub bearngs?
