I used the rattle can...Krylon plastic paint, luckily they had a real dark blue. I must've done at least seven or eight light coats. I wasn't too sure about the finished color until I set one in place, then it all came together. Can't wait till my 2" AS get here

I just did my tails today with some black krylon fusion, they look just like a set of harley tails now. When I get my heads done I'll post a pic of them.

I found that 225 degrees for 12 minutes works better than 200 for 10 on the tails, they come apart easier.

Thanks for the tip....the worst part about the heads mod was getting them damn things seperated.

so you just pull off the lense cover and paint the inside and then epoxy it back together? i just bought my 07 and want to do mine black since mine is black.

I don't think many wives understand modding or customizing. Maybe it's a guy thing. Maybe it's a truck thing. Personally I hate stock.
