Level kits....

I am sorry guys. I know this is an exhausted question on here, but I am looking at level kits, I want 35 inch nittos on my truck, and have read that the 3" is not the best for front end parts... And some 2.5 kits have rear end blocks and some don't I have read that the Auto spring is the most liked on here, and every kit i see that is Auto spring has no rear blocks included in the kit. So what is the best option herekits with rear blocks included or just the front kit.

My 2004 sat so high in the rear stock all I had to do was put in a Daystar 2 1/2" kit and it leveled it out perfect. No problems either in almost 5 yrs.

Exactly.

None of the AS kits will include the rear blocks cause some guys don't need or want them. Every truck is different. So, go get the 2.5" kit of your choice, as you stated, AS is a good one, install it, have it aligned and see where you are at. You may like it or you may find that 2.5" makes your truck sit "bulldog" (slightly nose high) at which point you could then get the AS rear blocks you mentioned which will net you 1 3/8" rear lift once installed.

The AS 2.5" on my 08 FX4 made it sit nose high and I opted for the AS blocks. Most that go 2.5" end up doing something to lift the rear as 2.5" is right on the level/slightly nose high line when empty and obviously nose high when loaded up.

I swear why can't we have a leveling kit sticky. Same question 10 times a week. Let's break it down ONE more time.

2004-2005 trucks sit level with a 2.5 inch kit.
2006-2008 trucks sit level with a 2 inch kit.

Some guys add blocks. Some guys add an AAL. Some add airbags.

That is pretty much it. Not real complicated.

I disagree with this.

I installed the AS 2" on my 06 and the front sat 1/2" HIGHER. I then purchased and installed the Firestone Airbags.

In the end, I would have gone the airbag route anyway due to the fact that I use my truck occasionally as a truck and don't want the rear to sag. Before the airbags, the rear sagged considerably when we made a road trip and just loaded the bed with some things. Don't know how much those things weighed combined, but it should not have been enough to cause an F150 rear to sag.

Just some FYI....

Sorry, I should have thrown in a disclaimer. What I wrote is a general rule of thumb. Yours sat too high with a 2 inch. Some say thier newer truck needed a 2.5 inch to sit level. 9 times out of 10 what I posted will get you sitting right.

Autospring makes an AAL, here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1-1-2...Q5fAccessories

Or, you can do their blocks, here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...Q5fAccessories

If you can follow the step by step direction s on the leveling kit, you can install the AAL. The AAL and the blocks listed above both come with step by step directions however the AAL is more difficult than the blocks to install.

Well to here that people are not having problems with the 3" makes me happy. That is what I want in mine but with that the rear is needed to I assume. Still kinda up in the air. I want it as high as I can without costly lift kits.

The add a leaf was really easy. Follow the directions and it wont take long. First one took me about a hour and a half the second one took me maybe 45 minutes. It was really easy.
