Everyone look, it's the New Guy!!

Hey everyone. Just purchased my first F150, my first Ford for that matter. I bought a 2005 King Ranch. Couldn't be more happy. Calling her "BigMoosie" (Fight Club reference). Been a Jeep guy for the past 7 years. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello . Oh, I live in Knoxville, TN but grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio (Go Bucks!!).

Also, I wanted to ask two questions really quick. The truck didn't come with the owner's manual and I was wondering if there was a link here to a pdf of the 05 user's manual? Also, and this may be silly but, what grade fuel do I need to be putting in it??

It is tuned for 87, so that is what you should run. I think Ford's site has a place where you can download a manual.

Oh, and welcome to the site!

The owner's manual may be here under the Glovebox.

I'm really not sure if it's been tuned for 87 or not.

If its stock, its tuned for 87. The only way that is it not tuned for 87 is if the previous owner had a custom program loaded onto it. If he did, he should have returned it to stock before he sold it if he wasnt an idiot. You could call him and ask him if he every re-programmed it when he had it. That would be the easiest way

If it has the factory tune or a dealer reflash, it is 87.
