New Guy .. Hi to all!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all! I’ve owned f-150s for years. Been without a truck for about 3 years and decided that I missed my 09’ f-150 so much that I need to get back in the truck saddle.

I found a 2007 FX4 Crew Cab that was used by a salesman. He sold equipment over several states and put a 97,000 miles on the truck.

I located this truck sitting on a back lot of a Ford dealership. It had not been cleaned but looked great. I also found original paper work showing routine service performed by a local Ford dealer (oil changes and flushing transmission etc). It just had an oil change, new Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires, battery installed.

I also found the owners name and phone number.

I called him and he was very excited that I was looking at his old truck. He gave it a great review and told me that he had to trade it because his company would only pay payments for 3 years. He told me if anything he washed and waxed it too much.

It’s loaded with just about all the powers stuff you can get including leather heated seats. It looks like a new truck. I’m very excited about my purchase. I paid 19k and very pleased with the deal.

I hope to learn from you all!!

Ben, OH

I know exactly where that is and I'll be up in your area in a few weeks for the Buffett show.

Thanks all, No plans for mods at this time. I even avoided the temptation to mod my Vette. The cost could get out of hand.
