need some help/Advice....

Hey guys, I went out to my truck today at lunch and noticed someone tried to break into my truck trying to break out the key hole.

They did not get in, but it almost looks like i need a entire new handle/lock on the drivers side.

I am PISSED, i moved my truck around to the front of the building.

I am also investing in a alarm system asap!

just venting some.

That sucks pro you need to get a alarm for sure. As soon as my truck gets some more mods on it, its definitely gonna get an alarm

depending on how bad the lock is you might need a new one, I'd get a new handle tho good time to upgrade to painted ones

problem is I dont think you could get just one lock, you might have to rekey the vehicle in which case you probably would need to start thinking about insurance.

LMK if i can help you out

That sucks man, glad to hear that they didn't actually get in. My truck was broken into saturday night, smashed the window and stole my oakleys. Got the window fixed...but am in the process of buying a viper alarm system, so I agree with you on the alarm mod. Good luck man!

Jimmie Jammers

Install these, problem solved.
Takes about 45 minutes per door.

http://www.jimmijammer.com/

Ford needs to step up and resolve this bull$h|t because it has been an issue since the 97 models. Mine was broken into as well. Thief (explicative, explicative, explicative) jams a screwdriver into the lock cylinder separating it from the POS plastic lock sleeve on the plastic door handle and VIOLA! They aer in.

Not to discourage anyone from jimmyjammers but it wouldn't have made any difference in my truck cause the crook broke my lock but couldn't get in so he busted my back window to pass up my oakleys, some decent fishing gear for 5 bucks in the glove.
