Project USAFORD 2005 Off road FX4

Ok guys, So i will be deploying here in the next few months, and will bring in some serious cash( 32K dollars round about ), i have 11K in debt that i am paying off, and putting around 5K on the truck, and the rest will be savings and this project.

Budget: $6500

Goal: I want my truck to be off-road capable. And to look the part as well as be the part haha.

What I have on the list so far:

6" fabtech Performance Lift( DL shocks and Coilovers )

35X12.5R17 KMS's(5 of them)

Some sort of cattle gaurd that can hold a winch

Winch(what rating?)

Bushwacker pocket-style fender flares

gryphon tuner

Intake(which one)

Exhaust( still not sure which way to go, i have a flowmaster kit on right now)

Rat Cage Spare tire carrier( I like the fact that with the pull of 4 pins the entire thing comes out so i can have the bed back if i need it)

Thats about it.

Thinking of possibly getting a roof rack, but with the rat cage, i will be able to attach everything i need to it, and with the sun roof, im not sure on the strength of the roof.

I will prob. end up keeping the stock wheels and painting them black since i cant find a wheel i like in 17". i want to stay with the 17" for the price and the more sidewall.

Anything else i should think about getting?

Lights will probably come in the following months, since thats really not a necessity. as will any other small stuff such as shovels, high lift, etc.

Here is a pic of my truck how it sits right now:

the door handles are black, but they have that *****ty chrome stick on crap from the previous owner, just have been too lazy to take them off.

um, thats a negative on the RH bumpers.. That in itself is what, ATLEAST 2K.. lol

Prob. wont go with lockers, def. not in the front(I hate having the front locked), and the rear already has LS(i know, not the best but better than nothing).. maybe down the road but not right away
