Recommendations on HID headlights

Can somoene recommend me a set of HID headlights for a 2004 XLT Screw? There seems to be a number of brands of bulbs and kits and I need some guidance before I waste more money!

DDM Tuning, I've had really good luck and experiences with them.

Get the H13 Bi-Xenon 55W Dual Beam Kit in the color of your choice.

Once again ChrisAU, thank you. Is the installation truly as easy as it looks? And you highbeams still work?

Installation is pretty easy, just use stock grounds on the side of the fenders under the hoods for the relay harness. I actually only have single beams right now, but wish I would have just went with their Bi-Xenon kit to start with. I have all the wiring (I bought a used kit for my headlights from a member here) and just need bulbs now.

My fog kit was brand new from them, and it is performing great.

No harness for the fogs, just straight plug-n-play.

A lot of people on here are running DDM's kit for their fogs and I haven't heard of anybody burning up wires. I have the 35W kit for my fogs btw, they are plenty bright.

Yes, if you order the dual beam kit then it will come with the harness.

x2

im running the ddm h13 hi/low and h10's for the fogs. the fogs are a direct plug in, and the hi/low kit came with a harness (gets power from battery). I guess ive had them for about a month and no issues yet.

DDM ships very fast, but its really hard to get someone on the phone (my h10's were on backorder)

Well I just ordered the H13 Hi/Lo's. I looked at the installation guide, seemed pretty straight forward. My credit card will rue the day I found this website........

I had to purchase DDM's harness with the relay (15 bucks or so) to make my H13 hi/lo's work. Only one lamp would stay on without it. My truck does have a plow so it's possible the plow light electronics may effect things.

Doesnt the kit come with the harness needed? What one did you need?
