Unhappy Frustrated in texas!!!!

Here is the deal. My truck is a "Turd" and I can't figure out why! I have an 2006 F150 4x4 that was converted thru Ford by Tuscany. When I bought the truck I was immediately not happy with the power. The only Mod performance wise was SI/DO exhaust and a leveling kit, 20" wheels/tires. My next door neighbor has same truck except its a 2005. His truck will spank mine. For example 0-60 he is low 9's, I was low 13's, but he has CAI, and Gryphon w/ custom tunes. Since then I have put on a Banks Ram Air CAI, and have purchased the Gryphon w/ custom tunes from PHP. When I received the Gryphon w/ "Canned" tunes the truck definetly drove a bit better, but 0-60 was still in the HIGH 11's. So, I had hopes of when I receieved the CustomTunes, that the performance would improve more. "NOT" I received the "Custom Tunes" and I got a Custom 87 Performance and a Custom 87 Tow. The truck runs Great on the freeway, very smooth in fact, but still NO Power. The best 0-60 I can muster w/ Custom Tow is a 12.8, which is LOWER than the canned tune. I am at a loss!! The truck sounds like it is going to take off, but it just sits there. Any HELP or ADVISE would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

What config is your truck? SuperCrew? 6.5' box? These trucks are not race cars and yes they are slow. If you havent already done so, you should do a fuel injector service and change the plugs, maybe that will help.

I affectionately call my truck the "F Slow-Fifty"

Edit: "Eff Slow Five-Oh" has a ring to it now that I think about it...

It is the 5.5' bed. The truck only has 38,000 miles on it. Would it need injector service and plugs already? Like I said my neighbor has the same truck, with much more power.

Aha, that is most likely the difference. I could see OP having 3.55's and his neighbor having 3.73's.

Both of us have 5.4l and 3:73s. The only known difference is he is running 17" wheels/tires and I am running 20" wheel/tires.

If he has stock wheels and you are aftermarket that is a biggg weight difference.

I have an 05 FTX with 4:88's, cai, exhaust, gryphon tune, and running 37's. My truck runs strong. There has to be something else going on with it.

It does seem a bit slow. I have a 5.4 and 3.73's as well with 305/50/20's. With the 87 performance tune my best 0-60 time is 7.9 and I know it can do better if I unloaded my bed and didn't spin the tires on take off.
