Reverse Lights Don't Work

The reverse or backup lights aren't working on my 04 scab. The bulbs are good and I also checked the no.14 fuse as well as a bunch of other fuses and they are all fine too. I checked the wiring from the tail lights back to the transmission and I couldn't find any cuts, breaks, or loose connectors, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions of things to check? I did a bunch of searches on the forum but only came up with reverse light mods. I'd appreciate any help.

Did you check for volts at the rear light bulbs? a volt meter will save you

No, I just looked at the bulb filaments. I'll check for volts tomorrow and report back.
