Computer Problem?

Hi Folks! I have some weird problems in my truck to often i need to change the plugs and coils, I think the problem is not the plugs/coils is more computer related. I want to change the computer of my truck. Where can I find rebuilt or new at good price?

May I do it myself? it's only change the old by the new one?

Is there any reprograming or tranfering info from old to one required?

I have FX4 2004 3V

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they come blank from the factory and the dealer has to flash the factory data onto it.

Have you had the dealer look into it yet? Have you tried having yours reflashed?

Why are you jumping right to the PCM as the source of the trouble? Start with the simple things. Have a scan done to check for codes, if none are found then it could be something like a fuel pump, clogged fuel filter or even the fuel pump driver module.

There's about 100 things other then the PCM that could be the source of your problem.

What exactly is the truck doing. I'm having some issues in my truck as well. Maybe we share some symptoms.
