Crash :'(

Havent posted in a while but today when I was driving up I91 at 6am (still dark) in CT going to VT for the day and there was a car disabled in the middle lane (the lane I was in!!) with no brake lights, tail lights, hazard lights, NOTHING! I saw it with probably 50' going 65 mph. I swirved into the left lane because i knew no one was there and herd a bang, nothing to bad, looked over and saw my mirror was gone...not to bad. Pulled over, called 911 they told me to get off exit 33 (i was at 27) so I did that THEN got out of my truck. OMG.....the WHOLE right side was _____ Everything between the front and back bumpers was smashed. Truck rides fine and everyone is ok, my passengers and the guy I hit. Turns out, the cop told me the guy had a medical emergency but it is declared 100% HIS FAULT so I will get it fixed. I just had to vent...thanks

Cop said he was having a "medical emergency" and something about a dialysis machine....soooooo what the HECK are you doing driving with a dialysis machine??? anyway, it was a green jeep cherokee with no lights so I saw him at litterally the last second...its amazing how much goes through your mind in 1 second. Apparently i made the right one because I definetly thought about plowing into it because I was afraid of rolling

Glad you didn't rear end the guy. That would have been bad news.

Glad to here your okay. why did they tell you to drive to 6 exits to get off? was the cops there before you did? They can't be sneaky and claim it as a hit and run even though you called and told them about it and they told you to do what you did right? I'm just confused, sorry. lol

Good to hear no one was hurt. 91 sucks even without ppl in the middle lane having "medical emergencies".

Geeze man..that's nuts. You were actually only a few miles from my house (I live in West Hartford) when that happened. CT drivers are nuts...I can't tell you the amount of times I've been cut off/nearly hit during my commutes on 84/91.

I'm glad to hear that everyone (and the truck) is okay though.

It was RIGHT before Hartford so 2 exits were I84 E and W then a few that just went into downtown Hartford so they just had me get off the next easy off and on. Hartford is also a 55mph zone that has a lot of turns and its not a safe place to pull off and have cops outside of their cars. Also when I pulled over after the accident on the side of the highway I looked back and saw tractor trails swerving bad around it so I didnt want to be there either.
