Truck shuts off

For the past few months my 2006 F150 has been dying about once a week while I'm driving. It happens at randoms times such as when I'm making a turn or driving at normal speeds. When it shuts off an orange light comes on in the dash, I guess it's a wrench symbol? After it dies I pull over, turn the key, then start the truck and no problems. One of the times that it died it said to check gauges.

Any idea what could be causing this?

It idle's fine.

Three most recent times that its died:

Stopped for a red light then as I began to make right turn it died.
As I was coming to a stop at a stop sign
As I let off the accelerator to reduce speed

Go to an autoparts store and have them pull the codes for free. Everyone will be WAGing otherwise.

Mine was doing that and the dealership replaced the throttle body - think it was more the sensors in the throttle body - the extended warranty paid for itself for me on this one.
