Nerf/Step Boards

I just installed and took off a set of step/nerf bars.

and they stick out what I think really far. has anyone else install some like these? wonder if anyone knew of a way to bring them in closer. Maybe trimming an inch or so off the end of the brackets.

thanks!

Jonathan

How excatly do they mount, looks like there is two holes to choose from on the long end? Maybe I'm wrong.

Hey thanks for the reply. I went home at lunch and trimmed about 1.5 to 2 inches off the end of the long end of the bracket. I am now able to get the bars closer to the truck. Here's a rough pic off what I did.

I guess I was just wondering if anyone else thought theirs stuck out too far and what they did to get them closer to the truck.
