URGENT HELP TT Mirror Install

Please help. I am installing Trailer Tow Mirrors on my 06 Mark Lt.
Truck Came with Power, Signal and Heat. Purchased the same set up from Tasco. Problem comes in Wiring. The extensive TT Mirror Install states that
all I will have to do is move the #8 Black Wire to the empty #9 Empty slot on the Mirror Wiring harness. Here is my Problem, My harness is completely different.

Here is the layout of my harness:

# 8 has a Green Wire with a Purple Stripe
# 7 has a Black Wire
# 6 has a Blue wire
# 5 has a yellow wire
# 4 has a yellow wire
# 3 has a red wire
# 16 has a black wire
# 15 has a Green wire white stripe
# 1,2 14,13,12,11,10 & 9 are empty

I pluged the harness in the new mirror as is, and the Power Adjust, and signal
worked great, but when I turned on the Rear Window defrost , the signal would not work.

Hope someone can shed some light on this, as I do not want to have to
remove the door panel later.

Please help!

just move the number #8 wire to slot #9 and plug it in to see if it works, doesn't matter if the colors are different you never know it might work..
