Thud When Accelerating
Hi All!
Recently became a 2006 F-150 owner. When I accelerate through 50 kmh, there is a noticeable thud from underneath / front of the truck. This is most noticeable when I start the truck in the morning and drive away (still cold). Only 34,000 KM on vehicle. Any thoughts? Thanks.

it could possibly be related to the transmission, however, if its only noticeable when your starting from cold, I would just bring it in to the dealer, let them know it has to be from a cold start and if its from a fast accel. or just normal driving, approximate speed, etc. My girlfriends transmission was having problems shifting 1st to 2nd only, all other gears were fine, never know if something just didn't shift properly once and something isn't lining up in just the right spot either. Of course, if the dealer looks at it, they are going to find the most expensive fix first, and go from there...
