Should I worry?

Tonight my truck was parked and running for about an hour. Once I got in it, turned the wheel to the left and pulled out of the park I experienced a little shake, nothing serious, barely noticeable but I knew. Is this normal?

Why would you have it idle for an hour?!?!

Coming out of park my truck has a shaky idle I never worried about it though.

I've left mine running for 4+ hours... but I run under severe engine conditions.

Good thing there's no hourage on the warranty...

If I could, and gas was cheap, I'd be running it 24x7x365...

Thats re-tarded. Its expensive to let it idle. I let our big diesel company truck idle for 10 minutes everyday in our parking lot and got 10.1 MPG then quit and got 12.8

Cool!

I remember after idling for roughly 4 hours, my mpg on my SG said 3.8 mpg...

I'm totally proud of that.

I can agree, idling does KILL gas mileage. But some with money or gets paid to drive, don't give a rats tail about it.

Because I went to take care of some business that should have only taken 10 mins but we all know how that goes. My brother was in the truck listening to music and I rather buy gas than have a dead battery.

Nothing to worry about - I've heard of some in the trades who leave it running all day every day.

If you have an edge displaying engine temp and trans temp and leave it idle you'll see no increase in temp - it's designed to be OK because many work with their truck all day.
