Question Why the rear kit?

I am wondering why if a person is putting on a front leveling kit to level their truck and reduce the raking, why are some also putting on rear leveling kits? If a person puts on a 2" front kit and a 3" rear kit didn't just get 1" worse instead of better?

to get more height. if you can do a 2.5 inch level and a 3 inch block and sit level then you havemore ground clearance front andrear than if you had done a 1.5 inch front level. youd have another inch, and you can clear more tire

Plus some people like to have a little rake bc they use their truck for towing or hauling things in the bed

in reality most folks will see a truck with 1.5" sit almost level, a 2" and up kit will then have negative rake, the rear sitting higher. Slap on the 3" rear blocks back to level AND you can now fit the tires you want. The front is usually the limiting factor on how large you can go for tires.
