Here in CA Bay Area, the nearest Bass Pro Shops is over an hour away...but I'm heading there on Sunday! I need a new winch strap and some new fishing line! I am sure I'll find a few hundred other things I need!

Thats the problem with going to BPS, I go there to get what I need and end up getting stuff that I don't need. Oh well

Whooo Hooo ! :-)

Yea', I just took my boat (my baby, that you can see in my avatar) out Weds. for the first time in a few months. Left the fishing gear at home though, as the intent was to run the **** out of it. I did, and it ran great.

Getting all the gear straight, and plan to be on the water maybe Tuesday and Weds. Then, starting next week, I'll be fishing Monday through Friday.

I worked it out to where I will still work weekends, to make a few $, and besides, I consider weekends to be worthless days anyway, with everybody and their Grandmother in my darn way. So, I let them have it. Then when they go back to work, it's my turn all week

Fish on !!!!!

Peace,
Fish

Great looking boat and truck. Every time I go to BPS I end up spending the day, just walking around and looking for things I can't live without.

Hey thanks for the compliments on the truck and boat. Its older but at least its paid for. I spent almost all day Sunday gearing up the boat, putting new line on my reels, Re-Re-organizing my tackle boxes, and some other odds and ends. I fired up the Merc and ran it on the ear muffs for about 10 min, but haven't dumped it in the water yet. My wife came out of the house laughing hysterically when she caught me throwing a few practice cast in the yard. I am just glad I am not the only one getting excited. BPS is a couple hundred dollar stop every time I go in, however, the closest one is in Kansas City (4 hours away) so I only get in there about 3 times a year. BTW nice rig Fish Chris.
