Odd front end clunking

When turning at a slightly higher speed or when hitting a bump right it sounds like something in the front of my truck is loose and makes a thump noise. It only occurs when making right turns. Or when my driver side tire hits a hole, bump, whatever. Any ideas?

Oh and BTW I drive a 04 F150 4x4 with a 6" procomp stage one lift.

I had a problem that was similar to this...only it happened on both the right and left sides...check your sway bar/stabilizer links..that was my problem..

As econrad said it's probably those sway bar end links. While inspecting though it would be a good ideal to check your ball joints and shock towers.

Do I just need to tighten them or try to tighten them?

I had to replace my right swaybar/stabilizer link @ 44k. I opted to replace both at a cost of something around $30 and bought the moog links from rockauto.com You can also find them at your local carquest as well. Like impact said, check your ball joints too. On the swaybar/stabilizer link, there is a rubber boot that holds the grease in for the link, the slightest pin hole can allow that grease to leak out, causing the "clunk" under acceleration forward/backward, or while turning. It corrected my problem and I noticed improvement in my steering. For only $30 , it is worth checking into. Hope this helps.

My truck is actually at the dealer right now for this exact thing. The stabilizer bar link on the passenger side had completely disconnected and was making a thump noise every time I made a left turn or hit a bump.

Sounds to me like it may be one of the tie rods. They look something like this

If they are not pretty stiff they are bad. They should have a little movement.

It turned out to be The Stabilizer End Links (Part #: 5L3Z-5K483-DA). They replaced both of them and the noise is gone now.

Stablizer Links From Tasca

Here's a pic that I took jsut now. It's the part with the 4x4 sticker on it.
