Cheap Power Window Switches

Thought I'd share what I've found.

If you are tired of cleaning your Power window switches or some are worn out.
I found some for only $18 at the partsbin.com

http://www.thepartsbin.com/repsite/f...h~reparts.html

Most other sites and ebay has these things for around $70..

Just got my switches in and they work great.

My old ones had been cleaned several times.
And the plastic pins had started to wear down where the switches would not making contact anymore or you had to press really hard.

Its also the same switch as the Crown Victoria 03-08.
At least that was the switch that I got from the parts bin.

Just in case ur at the Junkyard they will work too.

Shouldn't these switches work for the '04? The website says 05-08?!

I got an old broken switch and took out all of the small plastic nubs that are located in each switch. I keep them in a plastic baggy in my glove box. I replaced the driver side nub about 6 times already.. they keep wearing flat and the contact does not work anymore. Takes me about 5 mins to replace.

I need to do my rear driver door up motion one now.. once I get fed up or run out of nubs.. I will find a metal fix.. the plastic just does not hold up.
