The weekend's work
The weekend's work
Well, I devoted most of my weekend to my truck, it definitely needed some TLC and a few new mods.
First, the P3100:

Pretty straight forward install, shaved the tabs at the back of the dash kit to make it fit easier. And guys don't be afraid of keeping your steering wheel controls, that may have been the easiest thing I have ever installed. Three wires and your done.
Next, I was tired of all the clutter of wires hanging around, so I installed an aux power port behind the dash and plugged my gps and phone charger into it and then ran the wires up through the tray on the top of the dash. The GPS is the wire going up to the left. iPhone/iPod charger to the right, and when the GPS needs to hide in the console at night the power cable for it can be pushed all the way into the dash where only the head of it shows in the tray.

Sorry for the crappy pics.
Also changed the oil, cleaned the MAF, did the Gotts intake job, and gave her a really thorough bath. Changing the oil really quited down the cam phasers, and she runs much better now, didn't realize how bad it was running. From Birmingham to Auburn Friday I got 12.5 MPG, on Auburn to Birmingham Sunday after all that maintenance and modding I got 14.8 MPG.
