Water under floor trim, both sides

I started my audio install this weekend on my 2005 F150 FX4 Scab, and under both floor trims, rocker panels (where the wire chase is) there was standing water. What would cause a leak on both sides of the truck? Also behind the rear seat, the metal mounts for the seat and hooks for child safety seats all had a bit of rust on them. I've only owned the truck since September. Does this sound like any common problem? or is this something I will have investigate...?

its a common problem, previous owner should have had it fiexed under warranty, it can be a leaking windshield seal, leaking body seam, leaking 3rd brake light, or leaking conduit thru the dash. start with the 3rd brake light, if you leave the truck running with a/c on full blast and spray soapy water near it and it bubbles its leaking
