i been looking around on autotrader and ive decided i really like lariat super crews with black interiors. were there any certain years or colors they made them with? it seems like most of the lariats with black interiors i find are either black or smokestone on the outside. can i find a silver, blue or green or so with a black interior? id wouldnt mind a black or white truck but im worried about taking care of it (exterior paint)

any ideas on where i can find some stats on them?

 

well i found a brocure for the 07s and it looks like all colors you could get black. i just wish there was an easier way to search for black interior trucks

 

My '05 Lariat had black leather interior... but it was black exterior w/tan accent...

You might be able to find a red with black, but I'm not sure about the other colors. I think if you look around for an FX4 or FX2 with leather, you might be able to find more exterior color options with the black interior. That just stands out in my mind from when i was shopping back then because I wanted the black interior as well...

As for the exterior... black is BEAUTIFUL when it's clean...then 5 minutes later... well, it still looks good but is dusty already. Don't get me wrong, I love black Fords and own two right now!

 

I actually had to search a good bit to find a black truck w/black exterior. Most of the new ones on the dealer's lots were black w/tan interior. Nothing sexier than a black truck with black leather interior. Hardest damn thing to keep clean though!

 

so then tan lariat interior keeps clean better?

 

lol, i meant the black paint, not the black interior. The black interior shows much less dirt, and I'm sure as the leather wears, it won't look as bad as the tan leather does. My 98 F150 had the tan leather interior and it looked pretty bad after 10 years of use.

 

White lariat with black leather and wouldn't change it for nothing... The tan gets dirtier in my opinion but then again black leather comes with black carpet and it shows dirt really bad but carpet is easier to clean than leather...

There were no silver Lariats as far as I know from 2004 to 2008.

Beige seems to be the most common interior color for Lariats back then. My '04 Scab has a black interior though, and a black/beige two tone exterior.

 

I know. On the lot, I was torn between a silver XLT supercrew, and my white Lariat supercab. I really wanted silver, but the black leather interior won me over.

 

Had grey Leather in my last Lariat. Wasnt sure about the black until I bought it. Love It!!!!!!!!

 

I have a 07 lariat blue with tan accents with a black leather interior and love it work on getting pics later(its raining at the moment)

 

I have a 2005 Lariat Crew. Black exterior/interior. Just picked it up on Tuesday, and haven't taken any of my own pictures yet due to the weather. I'll see if linking to pictures on the dealer's site will work though.

 

Love the black in my smokestone. I can keep it clean easier because you can see what you missed when your cleaning.
Although my truck is a garage queen and only driven on the week ends.

 

That's a nice black lariat. You can't beat black leather interior.

 

Wow, I guess I didn't know how rare my DSG with black leather is. Guess I got lucky.
