Parking brake rub?

I just changed the rear brakes on my 2006 F-150. I thought the brakes were rubbing real bad, but it was just that they were old and needed to be replaced. However, when I tried to put the rotor back on the rear driver side, I had to hit it with a hammer to get it into place. It feels like the parking brake is rubbing on the inside of the rotor. Does anybody know how to get the rubbing to stop? The rotor on the rear passanger side just slid on with no problems. Can anybody help?

It is adjustable, just like any other drum brake. Adjust the star wheel.
