CAL reading above OD...

Hey all, So on my way in to work today I saw that I now have a CAL light above my Odometer??

I assume this is to recalibrate the temp and compass but not 100% sure how to make it go away...

I think I turned it on after getting gas while resetting my trip od...

Also have a flashing check engine light which has come and gone for a couple weeks now??? Ideas... Dropping at dealer tomorrow most likely.

Here's a pic of the CAL:

On other Ford's I've had you drive in slow circles until the "CAL" goes away and shows direction and temp again.

Yep you have to drive in circles less that 5mph I think so it can calibrate the compass. look in your owners manual under compass callibration.

There is a button on top of that black box behind your rearview mirror. The flashing CEL is indicative of a misfire. If it happens under stress (I.e. you're ******* it) don't worry yet. If it happens while driving normally, time for a tune up. Given the horror stories on the plugs in these trucks and if you have over 50k, I'd go ahead with the tune up.
