For those with Weathertechs and kids

I have been thinking about getting the WeatherTech mat for the backseat of my truck, I have the fronts and love them, but I was just wondering if getting the rear mat was worth it or not. We have a daughter who is going to be turning 1 pretty soon and we will be doing alot of traveling in the truck. So my big questions are, with kid/kids do the floors of the back seat get really messy? Have the WeatherTechs help contain any messes that there have been?

My girlfriend has three daughters age 5 to 14. I originally bought my techs, to use when fishing, and other out door activities. Since we started dating I have left them in. Floors still look great. her girls show livestock, so it has made cleauo a breeze. Compared to her Windstar, I would say the mats are doing their job, and wouldn't think of putting the carpeted mats back in.

I have the rear only. We have three kids ages 5 to 16 and I believe it is worth every penny. Carpet looks great and clean up is a breeze. Kids shoes can't go a minute without getting some kind of crap on them which ends up on the mat instead of my carpet! Highly recommend.

You live in Wisconsin....

That mat will pay for itself the very first winter you use it.

I am with jjntj. I have the all weather Ford issue ones in my truck and they do a good job. However, we use my wife's Tahoe *ducking* for travel due to the DVD player. Her carpet looks like hell. I am going to get them for her after a through washing of the carpet. One of our boys dropped a milk cup this past summer and kept it on the down low. What the South GA heat did to that milk and that carpet is a smell I will never forget. We called it "the beast" and reminded me of the Seinfeld episode where he had a problem with his bimmer. Took a good 2 months to get rid of, but it also got rid of the new car smell as well. So yeah, I wish I had them sooner.
