Transmission Malfunction

Ok so I changed my Transmission cooler, and I serviced the transmission fluid, and went to try her and nothing.....I just rolled back in Drive and in reverse. So I reved her up and tried to put her in drive and then I got "transmission malfunction" What does this mean, what could it be. It also said engine in safemode.....What is that? Does anyone know? It is a 2004 F-150 Lariat. I need help........Please!!

Are you sure it has enough fluid? If the level is low, it's not going anywhere.

It means you shouldn't play with your truck.

I'm going to say what Windsor is saying and I'd say it has low transmission oil.

Other than that, your torque converter might be broke. Not quite sure.
