I'm Back...........And BLACK.....

Well I got back from Iraq in Sept 09 and while I was there I got my truck lifted etc.etc.etc. Well after being back for 3 months I was bored with the truck. I think the main reason was I wasnt getting my "adrenaline fix" that I was use to having in iraq. I drove convoys over there and daily you were on your toes waiting for something to happen, always fast heart rate. People that have been there kinda know what Im talking about. Make a Long story short I ran across a Roush and it was what i needed at the time to keep me entertained. That only lasted about 3 weeks before I sold that. For the last two weeks I been carless...

I went up to Waco yesterday and picked this up. I didnt really want to get another lifted truck, but I couldnt find another F-150 FX4 for a cheaper price. This is a 04 has 58000 on it Specs below:

Black on Black Leather
6" Pro-comp
35" Pro-CRAP X-terrain ( replacing with KM2s asap)
Big country Grill Guard
PIAA lights
Cliford Alarm, remote start
Fiberglass bed cover

Future mods:
35 or 36" KM2s
5% tint all arond
maybe murder it out?
New Head unit

New Ride

New ride

When i got back in 07 i was the same way but it had nothing to do with adrenaline...it was because i had money. i regret getting my 08 f150 brand new all the time because i KNEW i wanted a diesel. if only i got this one from the start i would have been able to do more to it.

Thanks for serving. How about building your tranny and engine, twin turbo or supercharger setup and then regearing with the 35's...after blacking it out? That'd be a fun ride

Thanks!

I got the windowns tinted today, going to get some tires for it tomorrow. These PRO CRAPS are shot....

I loved my other F-150 also. Its Funny this one rides better even with the screwed up tires. I had new KM2s on my old one. I could never get it right after the RCX lift. But at 45 It sounds like a crop duster going down the road.

hold up...you got bored with a Roush? supercharged?

I have a Bullitt with 130 HP less (315 HP)...and I am having way too much fun...but hopefully I will be running 450 RWHP later this year though

put a blower on your truck...simply put, that was the best mod I have ever done. I absolutely loved my RoushCharger on my 2006 FX4. Turned that puppy into a rip snorting monster.

btw, keep it safe over there. bunch of my buddies just got back and I'm about to go out myself (Navy though).

I know how you feel with the whole adrenaline thing man. But nothing will replace the kind of stuff we did in Iraq. Ill just leave it at kicking down someones door with a nice bang . Every since i got back ive been doing some crazy thing. Been racing people in my truck, My girls G37 ive got up too 130-140 in it and she started yelling at me so i had to slow down . But i cant see giving up my truck nor a supercharged roush. Im like you, i get bored and just want to do something different or buy something so then i just go out and do it lol
