Goodyear Duratrac's - looking for more info.

Well, my crap tires (BFG Rugged Trails) are at 38000 miles, and are pretty much toast. Time for new ones.

I was looking at Goodyear Duratrac's for my next set, they certainly look pretty aggressive, but seen here and heard elsewhere that they are fairly quiet tires.... any one want to chime in to let me know the truth?

I would also like to hear from guys who put them thru a lot of snow, they look like they would bite pretty well. I've not seen a complaint about snow traction with these tires, but being middle of winter and all, now's the time to ask.

If anyone has the 275-65-18 size, do they come in white lettered? Says no on the website, so that's what I'm expecting to find when I go to get them...

And finally, if there's any higher mileage tires out there, would like to know what kind of longevity I can expect from these tires. Thanks.

I've got them but they are on 20's.
I haven't had them that long but I like them a lot so far.
Good in snow and I don't think they are any louder on the highway then say the Goodyear AT/S's.
I hope they last.

my buddy has them on his lifted Excursion with 35's....he went thru Toyo MT's, Cooper Discoveries and didnt like the road noise, how they handled.

He loves his Duratracs. Only had them a couple of weeks but says they are extremely quiet compared to the mud tires and do great in water (no hydroplaning) He has yet to have them in snow but they are winter rated tires with the snowflake so Im sure they do just fine.

I will be seriously considering those for my next set when the Toyo's I have wear down...need something that does great in snow and have not been able to test my Toyos this year as no snow in Seattle area. Muds typically are not that great though.
