locking glove box/armrest?

My FX2 doesn't have a locking armrest or glove box. Did any of the other models(lariat, hd, etc.) come with either a locking glove box and/or arm rest?

Sometimes i have to leave my gun in my truck and want to keep it a little more secure. I know they make a safe that fits in the space underneath the arm rest, but I'm not liking that idea.

I didn't have any way to lock valuables and installed the console vault. If the glove box or console did lock it would be cheap plastic anyway and not very secure.

I bought a Gunvault Microvault. ~$100 with a security cable ~$10. I can fit some paperwork my P-11 and my G22 w/ spare mag, in it at one time.

I used the security cable to tether it to the steel rod behind the rear seat. It's 6 ft long and pretty much will sit anywhere in the truck but I leave it in the back seat. I could mount it on the tranny hump (in the front seat)with some short selftapping screws but I go into alot of ungun friendly places and don't want the gunvault sitting out.

ok cool I was thinking about mounting it in the console if it would fit. But the backseat idea was my second choice. It seems most reasonable
